The 4rd International Variety-Gift Expo Tokyo will be held from July 8-10, 2009 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. This year, Show Management is witnessing the most excited response ever from the industry, expecting to welcoming 350 exhibitors from 30 countries, and 65,000 visitors worldwide, along with concurrently held fairs of the 19th International Stationery & Office Products Fair Tokyo (ISOT), and Design Accents Expo Tokyo (Design Tokyo 2009). GIFTEX is known as the perfect place to look for on-site business and to search for various kinds of stylish gifts around the world.
In the previous edition of the show, exhibitors expressed great satisfaction about the high quality of buyers and also visitor numbers. In addition to the exhibitors, visitors were also fulfilled by the show. “We exhibited to cultivate the new market. We had more than 180 business discussions, 57 of which were with new customers and received total of 10 million yen (approx USD97,000.-) during the show period. We will definitely come back next year, too” says the director from FUN ARTS TRADING. “We visited the show with more than 10 buyers from our branch for all 3 days. It was very easy to shop at GIFTEX as it was divided into special areas. It will be more than 100 million yen/year order only within Shinjuku branch through this show, ” says the director from TOKYU HANDS, INC. Shinjuku branch.
8 special zones for easy demand for the visitors
The bigger fair demanded a precise zoning and Show Management is proud to welcome buyers to these zones dedicated to different product categories. It will be hosting 8 special zones including dining, wazakka (modern Japanese houseware) & craft goods, games & puzzles, toys & character goods, floral goods, fragrance & aroma, bath & beauty, and fashion accessories. These unique focuses shall help the buyers meet their goals in a one-stop focused shopping expedition.
Limited exhibition spaces and get free invitation tickets
With such high expectations for this year’s show, the space for GIFTEX 2008 is nearly sold out. However, Show Management is still accepting limited space applications. It will also begin distributing free invitation tickets to interested parties. Early applicants will receive advance information on the fair as well as the opportunity to access special privileges that come with early registration.
