Description

1. Crosslinking agent for EVA foam.

When corsslinked by DCP, the foamed EVA possessed special properties better than that of other foamed materials in lightweight, coloration and abrasion-resistance. It has become as an essential ingrediebnt for makeing sandals, slippers and show soles.

2. Crosslinking agent for polyethylene insulated electric cable (XLPE cable) in the production of insulated electric cable, polyethylene after crosslinked by DCP, can resist gigh temperature caused by electric cruuent in thge wire. It has become a very important material in the field of wire can cable.

3. Vulcanizing agent for EPR & EPT.

ERP & EPT are newly developed synthetic rubbers which have given indication fo sufficient quality to merit careful consideration for wire and cable coating and conveyor belts. ERP can’t be cured by sulfur, however can be efficiently cured by DCP or organic peroxides. DCP becomes a necessity in improving the heat resistance capability of EPT.

4. It is a strong free radical source; used as a polymerization initiator, catalyst and vulcanizing agine. The half-life temperatures are 61 C (for 10 hours), 80 C (for 1 hour) and 120 C (for 1 min.). DCP decomposes rapidly, causing fire and explosion hazard, on heating and under influence of light. It reacts violently with incompatible substances or ignition sources (acids, bases, reducing agents, and heavy metals).
