Principle Multi-touch interactive system sensing enables a user to interact with a system with more than one finger at a time, as in chording and bi-manual operations. The system could achieve the effect of imige clicking, reducing, enlarging, whirling, and dragging. Such sensing devices are inherently also able to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, which is especially useful for larger interaction scenarios such as interactive walls and tabletops. With the system, users can not only watch high-quality projection image, but also inquire certain information of his interest by touching the glass cover surface. The system will display pre-set information automatically while it has been idle for a certain period, and switch into the interactive mode when it is touched. Components There are four components in the multi-touch interactive system: 1. Signals receiver: catch shooting according to the demand , the video equipment must be high-quality cameras; 2. Core control software: analyzing the updating data , the program is built in the computer system; 3. Imaging: present the images in a specific place by using projector or other imaging equipment. In addition to projector, plasma displays, LCD displays, rear projection screen can be used as interactive image carriers. 4. Auxiliary equipment: such as transmission lines, installation components, audio devices, Infrared lights and so on. Installation and Operation The projector could be set on the ceiling of the roof behind the screen or placed inside a machine box together with the sensor and computer. It is also possible to integrate the whole system as an information kiosk station.
