Sandalwood Red, Red saunders dye or Indian Red sanders extract contains a red or purple coloured dye. This Dye contains Santalin-A, santalin-B(Deoxysantalin) etc.,This natural dye is extracted from the heartwood of Indian Red sanders tree (Pterocarpus Santalinus). This is Used as colorant in Food, alcoholic beverages, wood polish, metal varnish, textiles, wool, silk, leather, jute dying, as dye for Skin (Sun-tan), hair dye, medicines, tablet coating colorant, and as dye for dye sensitized solar cells. We can supply any quantity, quality and of any purity required by our clients. We have the worlds largest resources available to us in India. We offer this in powder form packed as per Customer specification. Packed in cardboard drums or aluminum foil drums, with double aseptic food poly bags inside, 25kgs per drum. For smaller packs, they are vaccum packed in laminated food grade aseptic poly packs of 0.5,1,2 or 5 kgs and packed inside suitable corrugated boxes. Test certificates can be given for each consignment The red sandalwood is also used for carving panels, framework and traditional dolls
