Yeast feed, e.g. yeast cultures, called YC for short, is a medium that has been converted, by culturing yeast on it, into a high quality bio-active protein product. The product is powder in form and light yellow to brown in color, and disseminates a special smell like yeast. The product is salmonella-free, and has proved to be highly effective in fish and shrimp feeding when incorporated into the diets. Nutrient composition: The contents is a protein feed, the contents of the three main limiting amino acids ( Methionine ,Lysine and Tryptophane)are all higher than those in soybean meal, with lysine being 25% higher. The product is also rich in vitamins (especially B vitamins)and various trace minerals and growth promoting factors ,and is a green bio-active protein feed product that is both nutritious and health improving in its function.
