Refine Itacnoic acid

The production capability of our itaconic acid plant is 4500 MT per year, accounting for 45% of the total Chinese capacity. We have also paid special attention to developing more advanced itaconic acid based by-products in order to intensify our capability of resisting market downturns. In 1999, we became the first manufacture to produce refined itaconic anhydride, and manufactured a product line with an annual output of 300 MT. In 2000 we researched the technology for producing kojic acid and established a production line with annual output of 200 MT; this is the first large-scale manufacturing line in China for this product. We have also researched the technology of itaconic acid dimethyl ester, and it will be put into practical production in 2001.
