APG( alkylpolyglycosides) are called new generation environmentally friendly surfactants, based on renewable raw materials and are completely biodegradable. APG are characterized by special properties: As non-ionic surfactants, they have outstanding wetting and dispersion capabilities. Even in extremely hard water, they are able to most effectively reduce surface tension. Good solubility at low temperature, non-corrosive to alkali and electrolyte and strong soluble enhanced capability. The use of APG in a detergent or shampoo allows a reduction of the total amount of surfactants without sacrificing any performance. APG have a good compatibility with the eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. Pesticide formulations containing APG surfactants in liquid form already exist in the agriculture market.
