The transponder is ready to program drectly on the Mercedes C,E and G KLASS modeld from year 1996 to 1999 for all key position/number from 1 to 8. This transponder is for the models that use the metal or remote flip key with transponder inderiser .it is not working on models with electronic plastic key.The only thing you have to do is insert the key into the ignition and turn it on.
